A 10 million CFA Francs (15 000 €) donation was granted to Pesinet by the BNP Paribas Foundation and the BICIM (BNP subsidiary in Mali). The BNP Paribas Foundation and the BICIM, convinced by Pesinet’s potential, have decided to help us fight child mortality.
An official endowment ceremony was held on November 3rd at the BICIM headquarters in Bamako, during which Antoine de Clerck, co-founder of Pesinet and representative of the organization in Mali, and Cheickné Coulibaly, the pilot program’s coordinator, received the giant check. Pierre Bérégovoy, Managing Director of the BICIM, expressed the company’s commitment to Child Health and restated their support to Pesinet.
The donation will contribute to the development of a state-of-the-art technological application for remote monitoring of children’s health, a core element of the service provided by Pesinet, and a prerequisite for deploying the program on new sites.
