Why volunteer for Pesinet?
When spending some time in Africa, I realized that very often humanitarian aid had too little an impact for the amount of fundings spent. When I discovered Pesinet, I thought htere was in this project a new vision for development aid. The approach seems to more intelligent in that it is based on a paying service which I think is necessary and pushes for the adoption of preventative habits in families which in the end allows them to spend less money and ensures better care of children’s diseases. Hence, I decided to get involved at my level and use my skills to contribute to the cause.
Your role, your contribution?
I directed 3 films to describe the actions of the Pesinet Association. One of them is in French, the other one in English. The third one is in Bambara (official Malian language) and is dedicated to promoting and explaining the service to Malian families.
