Working as a consultant in strategic and business development consultancy on issues related to the oil and extractive industries and sustainable development, after graduating from the ESSEC Business School.

Why volunteer for Pesinet?

For a long time, I had been interested in getting involved in a social project in a developing country. When I heard about Pesinet, I was very enthusiastic about the project and motivated by the managing team. The approach, based on a paying model, was of particular interest to me. Pesinet offers the opportunity to deepen my knowledge of the development sector, to contribute to the extent that I choose, and, more than anything, to follow-up, from the inside, on the development of a fascinating project!

Your role, your contribution?

Since september 2009, I actively contribute to Pesinet by giving some hours of my free-time every week for the project. My main mission is to look for partners and donors, identify foundations that might have an interest in support Pesinet and raise awareness of the project among them. The good thing when volunteering for an organization that is in a start-up phase is that you are likely to get involved in many differents aspects, to participate in the thinking around the business and development model, and to contribute to the communication efforts around the project.
